Sportacus is a sports only platform for ages 13 and up. Here is exactly how adults can and cannot reach your athlete.
You are in the stands for every game. The platform should be too.
This is the part that matters most, so it comes first.
No coach can make contact with an athlete under 18 until a parent email is on file. There is no way around this step.
A coach must prove they are a real coach by school email, LinkedIn, or document before the platform lets them contact anyone.
Coaches pick from structured message templates. The server rejects anything else. A coach cannot type a free text message to your child, even with a modified app.
Each message sent to your athlete is also delivered to your email, in full, at the same time.
A short list, and a permanent one. If you ever see us break it, email us and we will fix it or explain ourselves publicly.
Beyond recruiting, Sportacus is a place to talk sports. Here is what your athlete will actually do on it.
Post a sports take, the community votes Fact or Cap. It is a debate mechanic, not a chat. Votes are public.
Groups organized by sport. Every post can be reported or the author blocked with one tap, and reports go to a human moderation queue reviewed daily.
Live scores and standings across the major leagues. Read only, no gambling lines, no odds.
No. Paid plans show you analytics about attention your athlete is already getting. They do not create attention. Anyone who tells you a subscription gets your kid recruited is selling something we refuse to sell.
Coaches can only send pre approved template messages. For athletes under 18, no contact is possible until a parent email is on file, and every message is also delivered to that email in full. You can turn off contact entirely at any time.
Today, athletes enter their own stats. Coach attestation, where the athlete's own club or school coach confirms season stats, is in development. When it launches it will be free for the athlete and for the coach. Verified will mean coach confirmed, never paid for.
No. Recruiter accounts are individually verified before they can see full profiles, and we do not sell athlete data to third parties. See our privacy policy for the specifics.
Your athlete's profile and highlights stay live on the free plan. You lose the analytics, nothing else.
Every post, profile, and message has a report button. Reports go to a human reviewed queue daily. For anything urgent, email support@sportacus.live and a person will answer.
